Personality: Elaina is arrogant; your typical selfish and self-centered 16 year old girl who puts herself above anything else. However, contrary to having a flamboyant, loud mouthed persona, she is rather the brief and silently playful type who usually gets straight to the point. She can be cheerful at times, but can also be serious or even ruthless, especially when in battle. She likes saying lies, particular how weak she is, only to surprise the opponent by showing what she's capable of. She is often the cause of the downfalls of her teammates because she doesn't want to be dictated or told what to do.

Strength: Elaina's fast paced movements and extremely fast reflexes enables her to maneuver her motion swiftly and flawlessly in combat. Her natural high intelligence of having an IQ of more than 200 gives her the advantage with tactical planning as well as predicting and counteracting movements. She could memorize something with a simple glance.

Weaknesses:
Her lack of control over her magic tends to trouble her when fighting magic with magic. She also isn't good with hand to hand combat because of her terrible strength. She tend to have poor health conditions as well: heart trouble, as well as asthma. Some of her minor weaknesses include her terrible fear of insects which could literally freeze her in place, as well as motion sickness when traveling over long distance.

She stands an average height of about 5'3 and can be viewed as small compared to other girls her age.

Elaina's magic is the ability to control crystals according to her will. She could form and create crystal particles out of the natural energy in the surroundings to form the shapes of crystals itself. She could shape then to anything she wants and can manipulate their motion and movements. She can use them both in defense as a shield, or in offense for direct attacks.

BACKGROUND

History:

Born with Evangeline Van Houzen as her real name, Elaina is the first and only child of a former leader of one of the most powerful Dark Guilds in history - the Phoenix. Being a child-prodigy and having a natural intelligence of that of a genius sparked interest among the guild members, heralding her instantly as the next leader of the guild. She grew up treated with great importance and luxury, having to get everything she wants and needs. However, deep inside the young girl was the feeling of unrealized doubt that sometimes bother her, but somehow couldn't figure out why. She was born taught to kill and do corrupt things other than to have a harmonious relationship with others. She was taught the vital parts of humans that can kill them in an instant. She was taught to hate everyone outside the world of the Phoenix guild.

It wasn't until 10 years later that she realized everything wasn't right. That everything surrounding her were pure lies and deception. And she realized this when she met the former leader of the Deathwing guild, Jiro's father. Challenging Jiro's father was a mistake, for that was the first time she experienced the bitter taste of defeat, and finally exposed her to the reality of the world - that she can't have everything the way she wanted it to be. For the past four years, she then trained under him, growing to like him more than to hate. And when Jiro's father finally learned the truth of Elaina being the next leader of the Phoenix, he told her everything about the guild she was belonging. Though that alone wasn't enough to convince her, deep inside she realized the truth and finally knew the reason behind her doubts.

With the Phoenix members finally learning that she had been interacting with the leader of the Deathwing, and that she was somehow 'brainwashed' by the said guild, Phoenix decided to wage war against the Deathwing, to destroy the latter and prevent from ever allowing to associate with her. Forced against a corner of the decision that she needed to make fast, Elaina finally decided what to choose. She tried talking to her father, the current leader of Phoenix of direct line, against the war that was to be held, but to no avail. Knowing more lives will be lost, and more families broken upon this guild war, Elaina knew more than to agree to everything that was happening. And so, the night before the war, she finally took the move.

Elaina killed every single member of the Phoenix.

Right before her eyes, she killed every single person in the estate, including her father, and left only the minor to live. After a few hours of hesitant killing, the reality of her actions finally struck her. Remembering the death of her loved ones, done by her own hands, and knowing she had no choice but to do so, she fell into a temporary state of madness.

The next thing she knew, she had opened her eyes and it was already morning. She was in the Darkwing's headquarters. Apparently, news of the sudden downfall of the Phoenix erupted everywhere, suspecting the girl named Evangeline, the daughter of the leader to be the one responsible for massacre as she was the only one missing from the scene. However, no one actually knew the girl's face except that of the Phoenix guild since they consider her as the guild's most precious gem that should not be exposed to the outside world. Jiro's father learned of this, and sent his members to retrieve the girl and bring her to the Darkwing. And there, her identity was changed and it was as though she was reborn. Evangeline became Elaina, and Van Houzen became Von Delabreaux. She received a new tattoo on the back of her neck that symbolized her membership to the Darkwing, though the flame-red tattoo of the Phoenix remained on her upper back. Though her level of skill is that of an S-ranked mage, Jiro's father wanted her to start as a new member and take the step by step process of climbing from the bottom as Elaina had never experienced one before.

Thus, she was introduced to the world as Darkwing's newest member, a D-rank member named "Elaina Von Delabreaux".

Every thing seems fine to me but remember, when you're using your magic in missions, you can only use them in D-rank level. Even though you are really a S-rank, but your rank in the guild is D-rank. If you use your magic as S-rank level, They might wonder why are you so powerful.
