Personality: Erika is a fun loving girl who does whatever she feels like. She can often get herself into trouble, but usually manages to wheedle her way out of it. She’s rather cunning and sly when she wants or needs to be. She’s not afraid to steal out of necessity but not just because she ‘feels’ like it. She respects most people’s choices and beliefs and tries not to get into arguments about them. Prefers to avoid conflict wherever possible but can have a fiery personality if someone annoys her too much. While she enjoys the company of others for a while, she also likes to have her own time. In this time she generally plays music to herself.

Relationships:

Likes: Most foods as well as music and dancing. Most animals especially snakes.

Dislikes: Pineapples and olives. People who are overly smug. Bugs, they creep her out.

Strengths:
Wilderness Knowledge ~ Erika is able to track wild animals by scent and tracks as long as she knows what she’s supposed to be looking for. She knows about some knowledge on plants species and knows what to avoid (ie. poisonous plants)

Good Swimmer ~ able to swim through even the strongest currents with ease and able to hold her breath for a few minutes underwater. She is able to swim up to 1 hour straight without rest (length varies with current strength calm = 1 hour, rough = only 15 minutes), after that she needs around 30 minutes to recover her strength and something to snack on to recover her energy.

Weaknesses:
Easily distracted ~ If on a mission of some kind and she comes across something that amuses her, she can easily forget what she is supposed to be doing. This can lead to disastrous results.

Claustrophobic ~ when closed in a small place Erika will freak out, sometimes faint, just the thought of caves makes her squeamish. She’d rather defend herself against an army rather than face a small space. The smallest space she can handle is a well lit room about 9 square metres.

Hobbies: Street performing, practicing on her lute and ocarina.

Other Talents: Musically Talented – Able to pick up any instrument and be able to play it well in under 48 hours. Plays and owns an ocarina and lute. Her music can lull wild beasts into submission.

MAGIC AND ABILITIES

Name Magic: Celestial Conjurer

Magic: Snake (Chinese Zodiac) Able to manipulate his length from 50cm up to 5m long. His venomous fangs can be lethal and inject poison rapidly. An average size person will grow ill from just 15mls of his venom between 2-5 posts. If more or less is injected than the time can vary exponentially (5ml = 15posts ; 10ml = 10 posts). (Illness includes hot and cold flushes followed by stomach pains then eventually unconsciousness) There are a few ways to recover from the poison, antidotes etc. His scales are hard and hot to the touch, this can cause burns with long enough contact (1 posts = small burn, sort of itchy; 3 posts = mild burn, rather painful; 5 posts = bad burn, incredibly painful.)

Strengths: Ice users cannot harm the hot scales the water created however cools them a bit.

Weaknesses: Fire users and water users are unaffected by the scales.

BACKGROUND

History: Erika grew up with her parents as part of a travelling circus group. She was first trained in acrobatics at the tender age of 3 and became rather good. Upon her 5th birthday she picked up her mother’s lute while alone in their caravan and began playing it. One of the older members of the circus overheard and thinking it was Erika’s mother knocked on the door. He was surprised to see only Erika and then got her to play in front of the rest of the group. As she did, her music was like a sweet lullaby it was beautiful. After that she was trained in the musical arts as well as acrobatics and soon was able to play every instrument given to her to play.

When she was 9 she her group decided to stop for the night by a forest. Erika decided to explore a bit and went out in search of some fun when she came across a strange looking key. At first she had no idea what it was so she snuck into a caravan owned by one of the mages that travelled with them till she came across a book she had seen once before. After reading through it she discovered how to unlock the gate with the key after a few tries and found herself confronted by a snake. After a long ‘interview’ type thing she signed some form of contract thing, however she had little idea what it was at the time.

After returning home once more she again stole the book and read further, it then became clear to her that she would be able to summon this snake being at her will. Being only nine she thought this would be brilliant. She summoned him again rather quickly to talk more. She then spent every spare moment she had with the snake talking and discussing various things. Over the next 7 years she learnt much about mages and even approached the mage of their circus for advice although she never told anyone about her snake friend.

Living in small caravans were always the hardest thing about the circus, and being claustrophobic didn't help much. Erika spent most of her time outside and began dreaming of things other than performing. After speaking to her parents for a very long time they eventually agreed she could travel without them as long as she had someone to go with. Much to her disappointment no one in her group seemed willing to go.

Since this is originally D rank and it's already good enough, I see no problems with it ^^ although to be fair I'll still let you edit some parts if you want. If you don't than all you have to do is ask and I'll chuck this back into approval.
