Minotaur trouble

Zaeta takes the mission notice and heads to his home to begin packing because who knows how long he'll be gone, so he packs a bag of clothes, a sleeping bag and his water skin. As he walks out the door Zaeta puts on a fur lined coat but leaves it unzipped because he hates being hot, as he leaves the town he says bye to all his friends and guild members and makes his way to the meeting spot at the base of Mt. Hakobe. Zaeta walks there because he is a Scrouge McDuck and he feels walking is better for you anyways, on his way there Zaeta sees a young farm boy with his wagon stuck in so mud and Zaete may not be friendly but he isn’t the kind of person to leave a child stranded. So Zaeta walks over and says “Want some help Because i don’t think you'll be able to get it out”. He then walks over and yanks the wagon out of the mud, he looks over and sees the boy in utter shock as to how strong he is and was finaly able to mutter the words “Thanks Mister!”.

After about 3 hours of walking Zaeta finally makes it to the base of Mt.Hakobe where he is meeting Matzui, He sees a figure covered in very heavy snow gear from head to toe and he walks up and says “Hello im Zaeta i accepted your request”. She smiles and shakes his hands and says” Pleasure to meet you, glad you could make, well you head up the front and i'll be close behind”. So Zaeta puts up his hood and starts to walk up the Trail with Matzui close behind. At first Zaeta was regretting bringing the jacket but after 3 hours of walking and just how could it got made him love it to death, then came the echo of a ferocious roar unable to tell exactly what it was he would have to say it was a bear. “I think we're not wanted here” says Zaeta with a smirk.

After 6 hours of trekking through the cold Zaeta spots a cave and says “we’ll make shelter there for the night”. He doesn’t bother listening to her argument because her teeth were chatering, her skin was as red as a tomatoes and shaking like crazy. He says “would you rather make it or die trying? Wait here and i'll check it out”. So He walks into the cave and of course theres was a huge ol’ polar bear that looked at him like he would look at a roast chicken. The bear takes a swipe at him so he jumps back and uses his spell Earth Dragons Drill and leaps at the polar bear and hits it in the only week spot he saw the eye. When the drill made contact it wasn’t a pretty site but unfortunately the bear caught Zaeta in the side with it’s claw before it died. He walks out and say “It's safe to come in...now”.

After they get settled in the cave Zaeta decides to skin the bear for a blanket, so after about 2 hours Zaeta had the skinned and Matsuki started a fire with a kit she brought so Zaeta was able to dry the pelt and they had a blanket to keep them warm. At day break Zaeta was up and ready to go he just waited for Matzuki to finish packing the bear pelt for future use (plus it could make a pretty penny). When she was done they left into the cold, after a while they got to a narrow pathway and Zaeta said "careful it is very slippery so tred with caution", of course after saying that Matzuki falls but Zaeta grabs he bag saying "see". Matzuki yells "just get me back up!!!!", then they felt a massive shake come from above, so Zaeta grabs her and starts running for their lives.

Zaeta in mid sprint wonders why she would yell on a snow covered mountain he could hear the avalanche coming closer so as a last resort he he uses Earth dragon drill and makes a temporary shelter to hide from the avalanche once it was big enough Zaeta grabbed Matzuki and jumped in Zaeta asks sternly "why the hell did you yell!!!". "I yelled because i didn't want u to drop me!" exclaimed matzuki. They had to wait for a few hours just to ensure that when they left the snow would be settled so Zaeta encouraged matzuki to eat and rest before they had to leave. After everything settled Zaeta dug through the snow and they carried on with the epicly long journey through Mt.Hakobe. After a while Zaeta saw giant snowballs being tossed down the mountain side and he new that was common to happen on its own but for now his main mission is to get through the mountain in one piece

As Zaeta and Matzuki are making their way through the mountain they don’t realize that they are being watched by a Vulcan tribe (a gurilla like creature capable of makin simple sentences, so they are able to cast take over magic). Zaeta knows they’re being watched but doesn’t want to provoke them so he acts natural. After about a hour of walking the path widens up to a big platform and Zaeta sniffs the air and says "Ambush", "what?!" asks Matzuki. Zaeta tells her to go hid, after a minute 10 Vulcan come out and start to attack Zaeta. He throws his jacket in the face of the Vulcan that jumped at him and punches him in the throat crushing it’s wind pipe the others in a rage come at Zaeta not thinking of what will happen first he uses his Earth Dragons Roar Taking out 4 of them. The rest come at the same time and all pounce him and start kicking him, enraged he gets up and punches 2 in the gut and as they lurch forward he smashes their heads together and throws 1 at 2 vulcan who catch the body then look up and see Zaeta round house them. The last Vulcan out of fear runs away un injured.

"For some reason i feel that won't be the last of them", Says Zaeta as Matzuki comes outa hiding so Zaeta and her carry on “At least we haven't seen a minotaur yet”, “I think we will sooner theen we will later”says Zaeta but he continues to walk on knowing the threat that lies ahead waiting for the pair. The 2 stop to eat Matzuki offers Zaeta food but declines knowing she only has a little food left and he takes a sip from his water skin and eats a couple of stones. She asks how Zaeta eats rocks like hard candy so he explains to her how dragon slayers work and how eating their own element restores vitality to the Dragon Slay. So after their break they decide to setup camp and carry on tomorrow. Zaeta unable to sleep knowing that their being watch, he has a restless night.

At day break Zaeta wakes up matzuki and sees that she is really pale, her as tough as she is believe she can go on but Zaeta knows better then to believe so he finds a cave hides it goes out to look for so healing herbs that can grow in icy climates. He has trouble because the vegetation is scarce here but he searches every area that looks like it has potential to grow plants. After about 2 hours of searching he finds a patch where herbs are growing so he picks a couple of each one and heads back to the cave. Matzuki being a trader knows a thing or two about herbs so she points to the ones that’ll help. Zaeta grinds the herps into a paste and feed it to Matzuki and hopes for the best. She regains colour in her skin and her breathing seems less strained.

Once Matzuki was better Zaeta packed everything up and the mission continued so. So far it was going good except now a tribe of Vulcans are really pissed at Zaeta. After walking for a while the path stopped abruptly so Zaeta told her to grab on his back and he would scale the icy wall. She made a big huff as to how she could do it but Zaeta wants to make it there fast so he forced her on. It started off easy but the higher they climb the harder it was to find cracks to continue on, he doesn’t want to crack the ice wall or they could fall down and get hurt so Zaeta tells Matzuki to “climb me to get up to the top and drop a rope for me to get up”. So she listens and uses his head to get to the next bit of cracks to continue the climb. When she gets up she drops the rope for Zaeta to climb up. After Zaeta gets up they carry on.

When Zaeta and Matzui make it to the top they are greeted by the rest of the Vulcan tribe and they looked really angry at me so Zaeta looked at Matzui and gave her his jacket in the back there was a Huge Vulcan so Zaeta assumed it was the leader so he ran at the group and stuck both fists out and caught the first to Vulcans in the stomach and they toppled over in pain 3 vulcans ran at Zaeta him in a battle happy state waves them to come at them, when they finally make it to him he sweep kicks 1 and as it is in mid fall push kicks it into 1 of the others sending them both over the cliff. The third on was behind him when he did that and hammer fisted Zaeta s back hitting hi so hard He coughed up a bit of blood. So he swings around and punched the Vulcan so hard in the knee that he breaks it.

All that’s left of the tribe is the leader he is 10feet tall and has three noticeable scars on him, 1 across his face, one across his right pectoral and 1 down his left arm. So it would be safe to assume that he is a battle hardened Vulcan and to proceed with caution. The Vulacn says “Puny man thinks he can take me, Lunk ha”, and right as he says that Zaeta presses his boot in Lunks face. That just made him even angrier and he smacked zaeta to the ground hard, Zaeta rolls back on to his feet smiling as if he was having fun with this and he uses Earth Dragon Roar and he gets some of his high powered sand in Lunks eyes. He is so angry he starts to flail around, Zaeta pushes him over the cliff but Lunk grabs his trying to take zaeta down with him.

Zaeta struggling to hold the edge for dear life as Lunk hangs on to him he tries kicking him in the face but it is useless he won’t let go. So Zaeta yells at Matzuki to “Throw a big rock at him!”, She listens and grabs the biggest rock she could throw. Right when Lunk looks up She threw the rock and it catches him right in the fore head. The blow shocked him and he let go, falling to his doom. Zaeta pull himself up, thanks Matzuki and carries on walking as if nothing had happened his, his back and sides a little sore but other than that fine so they just kept walking. Eventually his back become stiff due to the cold so they found a cave he went and found as many sticks as he could carry and they started a fire zaeta sat with his back to it to loosen up his tense back muscles.

So After a good night rest they packed up, Zaeta waiting for Matzuki to eat he saw she was running low of food so he decided before their next stop he would go hunting for the giant rams famous around these parts. So as they are walking Zaeta spots a heard of rams so he gets matzuki to stay there until he gets back. So Zaeta sneaks up on the heard and he scouts around looking for a ram that won’t but up to much of and he spots it, just a kid and he tackles it, snaps the neck and runs of carrying in not wanting on of the mothers to see and attack him. He goes back to Matzuki and shows her what he caught for supper. Zaeta forced to carry it for about 4 hours till they stop. When they make their shelter Zaeta starts to skin the goat, saving the pelt and horns for a souvenir to bring back.

The next morning felling as full as possible from eating so much goat last Zaeta gets up Happy and feeling like he needs to exercise for how much he ate. While waiting, he did two reps of 100 push ups and felt less like a fatty. Now they carry on through the mountain, eventualy they realized they are starting to descend down the mountain but that’s when the minotaur jumped out of no were and said “If you wish to get off this mountain then u will have to beat me and my 9 other tribes men, unfortunetly that won't be happening for you or anyone else”. Zaeta tried to get him to change his mind but he was to stuburn to see that he is going to regret this. Zaeta removes his jacket and starts to look over the Minotaur and notices the huge 2 handed sword he is carrying.

The Minotaur looks down at Zaeta, the bullman has a good ohh 5 or so feet on Zaeta. Which makes it a hassle to look at the bull’s face, having to tilt his head so far back to see it. The Minotaur slowly moves his hand to the handle of his blade, reacting quickly Zaeta jumps and kicks the Minotaur’s face, but he just swats Zaeta away like a fly. But Zaeta caught him on the noise and u could see the blood trickling down his face, the Minotaur pulls his sword out so fast Zaeta hardly had time to dodge the attack, but just as quick he swung it again and he cut Zaeta arm. In a rage Zaeta picks up a rock and kumps on the back of the Minotaur an uses it to crack of 1 of it’s horns. Zaeta continues buy stabing it in the neck with it’s own horn.

"Ok I know this is a random question, but do you have a needle and thread, because i would really like to close this cut up. If not do u have any bandages?", asks Zaeta. "well I don't have any tread but I packed a first aid kit just in case so we can look in there", says Matzuki as she goes through her bag to find the kit. Zaeta examines his wound glad he could dodge most of the attack, for if he didn’t he would have probably would be looking at his arm cut straight down the middle. Matzuki hands him the kit,Zaeta opens it and grabs a disinfecting liquid and pours a bit in. The sting was bad but eh and as bad as the cut. He finds a stich kit and threads the needle and continues on the tedious procedure of closing his gross wound, the cold making the needle even more painful.
